Ladder Rigid Track Fall Arrest

The Ladder Rigid Track Fall Arrest System connects the worker to the system via a rail shuttle and automatically follows the user for hands-free climbing, and locks onto the rail in the event of a fall, allowing the user to regain their footing. Designed for ease of use and versatility.

Please refer to the Steel Ladder & Steel Pole tabs below to ensure you make the right selections. Full-body harness is not included with this kit and can be purchased as an accessory.

Description

The Ladder Rigid Track Fall Arrest System connects the worker to the system via a rail shuttle and automatically follows the user for hands-free climbing, and locks onto the rail in the event of a fall, allowing the user to regain their footing. Designed for ease of use and versatility, you can configure to an existing ladder or customize a system with integrated ladder pegs when no ladder exists.

The fall arrest system consists of top and bottom rail gates, rail joints, angle iron clamps, step bolts, and an optional sleeve/shuttle designed to mount the rigid aluminum rail to the structure.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

SAFETY
Safety while ascending and descending ladders remains a key issue in many different market sectors. In addition to providing safety, solutions that address
these needs cannot restrict operators from completing their work.

CONFIDENCE
Rather than utilizing a webbed shock absorber that will deteriorate over time, the shuttle device employs a revolutionary metallic absorber to significantly reduce the forces on the user to less than loads allowed by governing bodies. Additionally, the unique energy absorption properties of the metallic shock absorber restrict normal fall distances, thereby minimizing the risks involved.

EASE OF USE
The ability of the shuttle device to run the length of the rail unhindered is essential. Any snagging of the shuttle will make it difficult to move freely on the system and could pose safety issues. Addressing this concern, and a key advantage of the ladder fall arrest system is the smooth operation during ascent and descent provided by the design of the shuttle. While allowing freedom of movement up and down, the shuttle locks instantly on the rail in the event of a fall, minimizing fall distances and forces on the user.

USER FRIENDLY
In applications requiring the use of a ladder where none is present, an integrated solution is available. Utilizing rail machined to accept ladder rungs, the system provides the dual benefit of fall protection while meeting the need to ascend and descend the system.

OSHA & ANSI COMPLIANT
Meets or exceeds all applicable industry standards including OSHA, ANSI and the stringent ANSI Z 359.

Components - Ladder Rigid Track Fall Arrest System Vertical Rigid Rail Track – The vertical track extends to the full length of the ladder plus approximately 3 feet above the top surface. Available in aluminum, steel, and stainless steel construction to accommodate your work environment.
Rail System Trolley – The Trolley slides along the rail system and keeps the user attached. Hands and feet are free for climbing. Integrated shock-absorbing mechanism – reduces force on the worker and system in the event of a fall. Aluminum alloy body, stainless steel rollers and fasteners, bronze bushings, stainless steel spring, hardened stainless steel lock arm, and annealed stainless steel energy absorber. Buy Individually →
Full Body Harness w/ Front D-Ring (Universal Size) – Designed to meet the durability, all-day comfort and safety requirements while working at heights on a construction site, use heavy-duty webbing that is almost twice as strong as the standards require. The Ladder Fall Arrest System requires the user to tie-off to the front d-ring of the harness. The harness distributes the load of the fall on the users body. Buy Individually →
