Description
The Steel Non-penetrating Modular Guardrails are the perfect solution for combining form and function with distinctive styling that compliments building architecture. The system is available in Non-penetrating Straight and Curved designs, and all components are Galvanized. The system is assembled right on-site to ensure an accurate fit that maintains a uniform appearance throughout the installation, all this while being fully OSHA compliant. When building aesthetics are as important as addressing fall protection needs, the Steel Modular Guardrail System offers many enhanced solutions. The system railings offer clean sight lines, upscale styling, non-penetrating design. Common applications are flat roof fall protection along the leading edge of roof perimeters, ladder access points, roof hatches, skylight guarding and more. Our guardrail systems are also used on loading docks, shipping pit protection, warehouse traffic lanes, crowd control, pier and rail yard protection and much more.

** Roof Parapet Required: Parapets on all rooftop edges are required by OSHA, if you are installing this system for rooftop edge fall prevention. This is intended to avoid slippage of the system under any circumstances. |
CORRECT USAGE (!! IMPORTANT !!)
- Federal OSHA COMPLIANCE: This guardrail system requires to meet a force of at least 200 pounds (890 N), and has a maximum spacing between uprights/stanchions of 10 feet on center (120 inches or 3.04 meters). OSHA 1910.29(b) and 1926.502(b).
Cal-OSHA / WA-OSHA COMPLIANCE: This guardrail system if installed in the state of California or Washington, requires a maximum spacing between uprights/stanchions of 8 feet on center (96 inches or 2.44 meters). Cal-OSHA Title 9, 1620 and 3209. WA-OSHA WAC 296-24-75011. - Finish: All parts and material are standard galvanized finish. Custom Powdercoat Safety Yellow option in available for an upcharge. - Finishing Kit (required for open ends): A 5ft. 90-degree return kit is required at the start and stop of any Non-penetrating freestanding guardrail system regardless of length. This geometry ensures the system meets the loads required per OSHA.
- Weighted Base: Mounts up to four rail sections Allows turns in 45-degree increments 90 lbs.
- Rail Sections: Top Rail Height = 42” tall; Mid-Rail Height = 20” tall; Rail Pipe = 1.25” schedule 40 pipe.
