The Non-Penetrating Counterweight Roof Top Anchor for a single user provides a tie-off point for personnel working on flat roofs or structures. The OSHA compliant roof anchor comes with a D-ring included for tying off your lanyard to the anchor. The Non-Penetrating Counterweight Roof Top Anchor does not require attachment to a working surface and provides a safe and versatile fall arrest rated tie-off point.

High strength and durability to stand up to the toughest environments

Anchorages are sold by what they connect to (general/all purpose, steel, concrete, roof or specialty), whether they are fixed or mobile, and whether they are permanent or portable. They all must provide a secure point of attachment for a complete personal fall arrest system, and must be capable of supporting a load of 5,000 lbs. (22kN) or of meeting OSHA’s criteria of a 2 to 1 safety factor.

NOTE: Tie-off equipment (Leading Edge Lanyard or Leading Edge SRL) and Full-body Harness are not included with the system, and are required for this system to be fully functional. You can choose between the ‘Approved Tie-Off Options’ provided above or visit the ‘Accessories’ section to purchase separately.

  • Weight of System: The complete system weighs 735 lbs. (334 kgs.) without any tie-off options and is assembled on site.
  • Fall Arrest: The structure to which the Anchorage Connector is installed on must sustain static loads applied in the directions permitted by the Fall Arrest System of at least: 5000 lbs. (22.2 kN).
  • Fall Protection Only: This Anchorage Connector is for connection of Fall Protection Equipment. Do not connect Lifting Equipment to the Anchorage Connector.
  • Weather: The Counterweight Roof Top Anchor must not be used in adverse weather conditions. The roof surface must be free of frost, snow, standing water, grease or oil, or any other type of lubricating or friction reducing materials.
  • Location of Anchor: Determine the proper location of the Roof Top Counterweight Anchor. It must be flat (5° slope or less) and be at least 8 ft. (2.5 m) away from the edge of the structure or any openings such as skylights or doorways, and as close as possible to the work area. (Fig. 7 in User & Instruction manual)
