CAI Safety’s Aluminum Fixed Top Mounted Guardrails is designed for sloped roof projects and applications where higher wind loads, ice build-up and snow loads are typical. The Aluminum Top Mounted system can be fastened down with the KATTPOINT Anchor System. The KATTPOINT Anchor is supplied with project specific roof membrane pre-attached to ensure a waterproof connection and maintain the warranty. This system is OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and WA-OSHA compliant.

CAI Safety’s Aluminum Fixed Top Mounted Guardrails is designed for sloped roof projects and applications where higher wind loads, ice build-up and snow loads are typical. The Aluminum Top Mounted system can be fastened down with the KATTPOINT Anchor System. The KATTPOINT Anchor is supplied with project specific roof membrane pre-attached to ensure a waterproof connection and maintain the warranty. The KATTPOINT is approved by all major manufacturers. This system can be easily customized on-site to suite specific site requirements.

Working on rooftops is a dangerous endeavor that requires maximum safety. Thankfully, this aluminum guardrail system provides complete passive fall protection and help your business stay OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and WA-OSHA compliant. The aluminum guardrail system has a clean aesthetic appeal and can be easily customized by color, size and length.

PLEASE NOTE: This guardrail system can only be installed on the Roof Surface of the roof. Mounting onto the surface of the Parapet Wall is not recommended with this system.

PVC Roofing (Polyvinyl Chloride)

PVC is flexible roofing membrane manufactured using a UV-resistant Polyvinyl chloride. It’s designed for low slope roofing applications. The PVC membrane is reinforced with polyester fabric which creates a tear resistant membrane.

EPDM Roofing (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer)

EPDM is a thermo-set roofing membrane made from rubber-polymer and is often referred to as “rubber roofing”. This lightweight synthetic material has been a popular choice since the early 1970s for its long-term durability and low maintenance needs.

TPO Roofing (Thermoplastic Polyolefin)

TPO is the leading and most preferred roofing system product in the commercial sector for its resistance to ultraviolet rays, installation advantages, LEED points, and energy savings. TPO can be used in new construction and re-roofing applications.

SBS Roofing (Styrene Butadiene Styrene)

SBS modified bitumen roofing is a material made out of asphalt and synthetic rubber, making it an exceptionally flexible material for flat roofs. Thanks to its rubber composition, the material is less prone to cracking and sustaining damage from elements like ice and sun.

Use #15 roofing screws to attach the Kattpoint Base to the roof surface or membrane.
Finish: All aluminum sections are supplied mill finish as standard. Safety Yellow option in stock for an upcharge.
