CAI Safety’s Aluminum Fixed Top Mounted Guardrails is designed for sloped roof projects and applications where higher wind loads, ice build-up and snow loads are typical. The Aluminum Top Mounted system can be fastened down with the KATTPOINT Anchor System. The KATTPOINT Anchor is supplied with project specific roof membrane pre-attached to ensure a waterproof connection and maintain the warranty. This system is OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and WA-OSHA compliant.

System Description
CAI Safety’s Aluminum Fixed Top Mounted Guardrails is designed for sloped roof projects and applications where higher wind loads, ice build-up and snow loads are typical. The Aluminum Top Mounted system can be fastened down with the KATTPOINT Anchor System. The KATTPOINT Anchor is supplied with project specific roof membrane pre-attached to ensure a waterproof connection and maintain the warranty. The KATTPOINT is approved by all major manufacturers. This system can be easily customized on-site to suite specific site requirements.

PVC Roofing (Polyvinyl Chloride)PVC is flexible roofing membrane manufactured using a UV-resistant Polyvinyl chloride. It’s designed for low slope roofing applications. The PVC membrane is reinforced with polyester fabric which creates a tear resistant membrane. |

CORRECT USAGE (!! IMPORTANT !!)
- OSHA, CAL-OSHA, & WA-OSHA COMPLIANCE: This guardrail system has a maximum spacing between uprights/stanchions of 8 feet on center (96 inches or 2.44 meters). OSHA 1910.29 and 1926.502. Cal-OSHA Title 9, 1620 and 3209. WA-OSHA WAC 296-24-75011.
- Use #15 roofing screws to attach the Kattpoint Base to the roof surface or membrane.
- Finish: All aluminum sections are supplied mill finish as standard. Safety Yellow option in stock for an upcharge.
- Wall Mounts: To attach your guardrail system ends to a Wall, Wall mounts are available.
