The Horizontal Opening Mezzanine Safety Gate is ideal for environments with minimal vertical clearance space. When closed the gate provides the same protection as your railing system. You don’t have to give up a safe work environment for the sake of productivity.
The gate simply slides via manual or automated operation. Once the material has been delivered to the mezzanine, the gate closes by a timer or another activation device. Ideal for pallet racking, warehousing, packaging and picking areas.

OSHA COMPLIANT
The Mezzanine Gate is designed to meet Federal OSHA requirements for standard railings. The gate is 42″ high with a mid-rail and a 4″ toe board.
DECK MOUNTING OPTIONS
On-deck mounting requires only 6″ of deck space along the width of the gate, or may be mounted off-deck requiring no deck space.
OPERATING OPTIONS

TECHNICAL DATA
- Gate Material: 1-1/2″ square, 11-gauge tube, factory welded. Solid horizontal top rail and mid-rail, 4″ high toeboard, 42″ overall height, and vertical members not to exceed 8′ on center.
- Finish:
- Mild steel: Powder coat yellow on all unfinished exposed surfaces.
- Stainless steel: Mill finish/unpainted on all unfinished, exposed surfaces (call us for a quote on this finish).
- Hardware: Track, guides, brackets, and mounts: Furnished in accordance with material type and dimensional requirement of gate, in lengths and sizes appropriate for handling and shipping.
- Installation: Mounting location: Deck mount (standard) or face mount.
- Performance Rating: Gate shall meet or exceed OSHA requirements, relative to dimensions and loads, at the time of manufacture.
