The vertical opening design gives you the ability to have the same protection as your railing system. You don\u2019t have to give up a safe work environment<\/strong><\/em> for the sake of productivity.<\/p>\n

The gate simply slides via manual<\/span><\/strong><\/em> or automated<\/strong><\/em><\/span> operation. Once the material has been delivered to the mezzanine, the gate closes by a timer or another activation device. OSHA COMPLIANT<\/strong>
\nThe Mezzanine Gate is designed to meet Federal OSHA requirements for standard railings. The gate is 42\u2033 high with a mid-rail and a 4\u2033 toe board.<\/p>\n

DECK MOUNTING OPTIONS<\/strong>
\nOn-deck mounting requires only 6\u2033 of deck space along the width of the gate, or may be mounted off-deck requiring no deck space.<\/p>\n

OPERATING OPTIONS<\/strong>
\nThe gate is available in manual, electrical, pneumatic with electrical activation and full pneumatic (sparkless environments) operation options. Additional enhancements such as wireless control, warning horn and activation sensor are also available. Review the product cut sheet for more details.<\/p>\n

TECHNICAL DATA<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Gate Material: <\/strong>1-1\/2″ square, 11-gauge tube, factory welded; solid horizontal top rail and mid-rail, 4″ high toeboard, 42″ overall height, and vertical members not to exceed 96″ on center. Vertical guide column assembly shall consist of tubular columns (120″ standard length), prepped for the gate operating hardware and applicable mounting brackets; guide assemblies shall be fabricated to allow gate to bypass idler sheaves to utilize full installation height.<\/li>\n
  • Finish:<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Mild steel<\/u>: Powder coat yellow on all unfinished exposed surfaces.<\/li>\n
    • Stainless steel<\/u>: 304-2b. Mill finish\/unpainted on all unfinished, exposed surfaces (call us for a quote on this finish)<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Hardware:<\/strong> Gate to have four (4) non-corrosive guide bearings, which require no lubrication.<\/li>\n
    • Mounting:<\/strong> Mounting location: Deck mount (standard) or face mount.<\/li>\n
    • Performance Rating:<\/strong> Gate shall meet or exceed OSHA requirements, relative to dimensions and loads, at the time of manufacture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
