[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””]The Gate & Guardrail Kit for Work Area<\/strong><\/span> is an OSHA compliant<\/strong>, passive fall-protection system that attaches to fixed permanent ladders without welding, drilling, or roof membranes penetration. The system kit utilizes cast iron base plates and 7.5ft. railings to create the barrier, thus allowing for a safe working area\/lay down area<\/strong> on the roof. Personnel are directed into a controlled access barrier from the ladder to restrict exposure to unprotected roof edge fall hazards.<\/p>\n

This system extends out 7.5ft. and the adjustable spanner brackets<\/strong> included in the kit can extend another 40\u201d allowing for a 10\u2019 control zone extending from the ladder.     When should you use this system?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

    OSHA requires that all fixed ladders and ladder openings be guarded. When no other ladder protection is in place for fixed ladders, the Gate & Guardrail System would be the first line of defense for fixed ladder fall protection.\u00a0This product can extend onto the roof up to 130 inches, depending on ladder configuration, utilizing the ladder spanner brackets included with the system. The system combined with the optional self-closing gate will offer controlled access to the ladder opening.[\/vc_column_text]
