What is a Tagline assembly?<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

An SRL tagline is a separate lightweight rope or line attached to the connecting hook of a self-retracting lifeline (SRL). Its purpose is to let a worker retrieve, lower, or control the SRL hook from ground level and to allow the SRL lifeline to fully retract into its housing when not in use. The worker can use the tagline to pull the SRL hook down, connect it to the harness, climb while protected by the SRL, and then return the hook after use.<\/p>\n
