    • Portable Vacuum Anchor

      SPECIALIZED LOAD DISTRIBUTING DESIGN
At the heart of the non-penetrating anchor system is a force absorbing tip over post. The tip over post is contained within an anchor device consisting of a galvanized steel frame and galvanized steel weights bolted in a circular formation onto rubber coated base weights. In the event of a fall, the tip over post deploys to limit the load on the system while the weights simultaneously create a friction anchor between the unit and the roof surface.

      EASY INSTALLATION
Installation of the anchor system is simple, fast and efficient. Due to its modular design, the installer will never have to lift more than 50 lbs. In some applications, the entire anchor system can be lifted (by forklift or crane) into place for instant set-up and use.

    • Portable Vacuum Anchor

      SUITABLE FOR MOST ROOF TYPES
The roof anchor has been tested and approved for use on concrete, single ply membrane, bitumen membrane, asphalt-sanded, asphalt-stone chipped and steel roof profiles. If the roofing profile which you have selected falls outside the current range, please contact CAI Safety for further advice.

    • Portable Vacuum Anchor

      SAFE AND SECURE ANCHOR
Each non-penetrating anchor can be used to protect one user in fall arrest or fall restraint mode. After set-up, simply attach your shock absorbing lanyard, leading edge, self retracting lifeline or rope grab and you are ready to go.

    • Portable Vacuum Anchor

      NON-PENETRATING DESIGN
When it is not practical to install a fixed anchor post the roof anchor is an ideal solution. Without penetrating the roof or surface assemble the anchor at least eight (8) feet from the leading edges and simply tie-off with an approved device to work safely and efficiently. The savings in fixing roof leaks or voided roof warranties makes the counterweight anchor a popular roof fall protection choice.

BRIEF OVERVIEW
  1. The Counterweight Non-penetrating Roof Anchor is in compliance with the provisions of OSHA 1910.66, OSHA 1926.502, ANSI Z359.1 sub-section 3.1.2 (single point anchor system) and ANSI Z359.1 sub-section 3.1.4 (incorporating a horizontal lifeline system).
  2. Non penetrating fall protection anchor design does not attach to roof surface, reducing the possibility of damage.
  3. Integrated shock absorbing anchor post provides safety to the user and roof structure.
  4. Suitable for flat roofs. (maximum 5° pitch)
  5. Can be used on a wide range of roof surfaces including concrete, single-ply membrane, bituminous membrane, sanded and stone chipping asphalt, and steel profile.
  6. Special rotating anchor turns through 90° for maximum user flexibility.
  7. Each anchor device protects a single user.
  8. Must never be used during periods when frost, ice or snow are present on the roof surface or when freezing conditions are imminent.
  9. Must never be used where there is contamination of the roof surface and/or anchor device by oil, grease, etc. or by algae growth.
  10. Should be positioned to avoid areas where water accumulates.
  11. The roof surface must be swept clear of all loose stone chippings, dust, etc. before sitting and assembling the anchor device.
  12. Only attach to the system by means of a CAI approved leading edge retractable fall arrest SRL or lanyard and full body harness conforming to the appropriate safety standards.
  13. Installation should ensure that no part of the anchor device is less than 8 feet from the edge of the fall hazard.
