Our roof fall arrest anchor systems are OSHA-compliant and can be used on almost every type of roof there is. The roof fall arrest anchor systems could be permanent if you have long-term use for them; temporary if not; or mobile if they cannot be affixed to any part of the physical structure. They have all been engineered to meet ANSI Z359.1 Fall Protection Code specifications.
Fixed Roof Anchor: The design features an anchorage ring that is capable of rotating 360 degrees for maximum mobility and protection. It is made of steel, and it is lightweight. This enables easy and fast installation. Installation is also cost-effective, with unique toggle fasteners. There are multiple configuration options that offer flexibility - the base plates have multiple holes and it can be used with different fasteners. In case of a fall, the energy absorbing design of the anchor sees to it that the forces are distributed across the base plate and the fasteners (this preserves the structural integrity of the roof).
It can be used on wood, built-up, composite, concrete, metal and membrane roofs. It is thermally efficient and ensures compliance with building codes. With its aesthetics, it complements both older buildings as well as those which have modern design.
Portable Roof Anchor: Our cable horizontal lifelines and rigid rail horizontal lifelines are flexible and can be installed just about anywhere, be it an aircraft, bus, truck, railcar or earthmover that you may be working on. This way, we fit them to need, not the other way around of making the need fit the equipment. If both a building-mounted fall protection system and a freestanding fall protection system need to be installed together, we can do that for you as well.
— Unique load distribution design: Galvanized steel weights are bolted in a circular formation to a steel frame, which also features a tip over post. The force-absorbing tip over post gets activated in case of a fall and the sees to it that the load on the system is limited. The weights also create a friction between the roof surface and the anchor unit.
— Easy to install: The modular design ensures that the installer will not have to lift more than 50 lbs. It is simple and fast to set up - in fact; it can be done in an instant!
— Suitable for almost all roof types: Whether it is bitumen membrane, single ply membrane, asphalt-sanded, concrete, asphalt-stone chipped or steel roofs, it has already been tested and certified for use.
— Non-penetrating design: Because it does not penetrate the roof, the roof warranty is not voided. You stand to save a lot of money by not having to fix roof leaks. This makes it a very popular roof fall arrest device.
— Safe and secure: In the fall restraint / fall arrest mode, each anchor protects one user. All you need to do is attach your rope grab or self-retracting lifeline, as well as your leading edge shock-absorbing lanyard, to the anchor and it is ready for use!
