The Extension ladder<\/strong><\/span> is the lightest Type IA and Type IAA fiberglass extension ladder in the world. The extension ladder weighs up to 40 percent less than the leading competitor\u2019s standard fiberglass ladder without sacrificing strength and stability. The ladder wide rungs provide great comfort, reducing foot fatigue.<\/p>\n

It also features a unique side-mounted, dual-pulley system<\/strong>, which reduces the effort required to lift the fly section by 45% and removes a potential trip hazard caused by traditional center-pulley rope systems. The Ground Cue<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0is included only on Type IAA ladders, and is an audible and tactile signal to let you know you when you have reached the bottom step of the ladder.\u00a0Missing the bottom rung causes close to 20 percent of all ladder-related falls, making it one of the two most common causes of ladder related injuries, according to a study published by the American Ladder Institute.
